Von Dutch Kustom Cycles - Custom Chopper Testimonials

Damn!  What a ride!

I just got back from Sturgis Bike Week filming a special for VH1 Classic called “All Roads Lead to the Chip”.  This was my third year doing the show and besides being an awsome opportunity to see and hear some great music at the Legendary Buffallo Chip Campground, it’s an incredible chance for me to spend the week out at Sturgis blasting around the Black Hills of South Dakota on my bike.  And blast I did!

Dee Snider

I had taken delivery of my flat black on black, Von Dutch Cruel World, soft tail this past Spring, but Sturgis was my first real opportunity to air the fucker out.

Now I know some of you are calling me a pussy for ordering my bike with a soft tail.  Listen, I rode a Von Dutch Flying Dutchman bobber--rigid frame, Donny Smith girder front end with no front brake--all last year, so I earned my stripes...and my damn suspension!  I’ve spent hours at a time on my Cruel World with no back fatique what so ever.  And it handles like a champ!

From Rapid City to Downtown Sturgis, from Deadwood to Mount Everest, I rode this badass machine for hours on end.  Its state of the art mechanics ran like clockwork (113 Billeted Patrick Racing Engine, Six Speed Riviera Transmission, Brembo Front and Rear Disc Brakes) and it’s old school, Mondo Springer front end, chopper look (and thunderous sound!) commanded admiration and respect where ever I rode.  I ain’t talkin’ about the “ooh, look at the pretty colors!” kind of attention.  I’m talkin’ “Damn, look at that bad mutha fuckin’ ride!”  And what a ride it is!

Hope to see you on the road sometime on your Von Dutch Kustom Cycle.  I know I’ll be on mine.

Ride to Live, Live to Ride...a Von Dutch Kustom Cycle!
