3rd Annual Hot
Bike Show Photo
The Von Dutch Kustom Booth at this years
3rd Annual Hot Bike Show took a different spin on things. Having
the center
point booth
of the entire show called out for something special. For instance
a 50' bamboo tilt up hut with a painted flying eye, Carson the
tattoo artist slinging kustom ink, Tony the Pinstriper,
www.pinstriper.com, pinning women, children and objects of all
kinds just as Dutch would do.
This all encompassed by a multitude
of cool lowbrow paraphernalia distributed by Dave Rievely, Materials
Manager, in the erected Kustom Cycles store. Amongst the center
of the 80' x 60' booth actual tiki carving was taking place.
This announced twice each day with Polinesian drums and dancing.
Off
to the far corner a hip off beat lounge was created with actual
palms and a bamboo wrap around setting to compliment and breeze
such a constantly busy booth.
To top it off, if that just wasn't
enough, 13 Von Dutch Kustom Cycles and a 56 Chevy Hot Rod
set the roots to the Kustom Kulture
display conceptualized and fabricated by Alex Mardikian and
his familied workforce with an entrance sign saying "Welcome
to our Luao" This event marked the sighting of the Newest
member of Von Dutch Kustom Cycles, Dee Snider.
Known not just for his
successful rock
band Twisted Sister, actor of Strangeland, major radio personality,
March of Dimes spokesman to name a few of the ongoing accomplishments
of Mr. Snider, now he has added the Kustom Kulture to his
list with his new found line of Choppers, Bobbers, Pro-Series and
Kustom
motorcycles in which he now represents.
